Rainier Cast Parts recognized by A3720 Machine Fixtures and A3600 Tool Engineering for their OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE
Frank Jarvis and Jeff Krueger presented a special "Thank You" to Mr. George Stenberg (President), Tom Mavin (Production Manager) and the staff for their outstanding performance. Rainier Cast Parts is our "supplier of choice" for aluminum sand castings. Partnering with Rainier Cast Parts has paid big dividends on the Single Load Spar Chord Tooling Conversion Program. Rainier worked with us to identify a material substitute for Aluminum T356. This material is called ALMAG 535 and proved to be high quality allowing reduction of internal manufacturing expenses. Heat treat, stress relief and some machining procedures have been eliminated. Rainier produced 297 sections (l ft x 3 ft x 6ft) totaling 301,900 pounds of aluminum. Rainier Cast Parts President George Stenberg sincerely thanked Tool Design and the Machine Fixture organizations for their integration and teaming.
